As in previous years Locarno will stay awake all night long giving space to culture, music, art and entertainment. Live-concerts, dance performances, street artists, stalls with culinary specialities and other interesting proposals for adults and children enliven the squares in the old town of Locarno as well as the Piazza Grande, where the Radio Ticino DJ’s present great music shows.
The extended trading hours of restaurants, bars, shops, art galleries and museums add to the buzzing atmosphere.
Throughout this long night the audience also gets a preview of the great summer events in the region: Street Artist Festival, JazzAscona, Vallemaggia Magic Blues, Verzasca Country Festival and the Locarno Festival will present tasters of their summer program.
