Der Name «VM Cars» heisst wörtlich übersetzt «von Moos Autos».<br />

Fredy von Moos, gelernter Automechaniker, gründete 1993 die Firma VM Cars GmbH in Ennetbürgen und übernahm bereits damals die beiden Markenvertretungen Peugeot und Subaru. Im Jahr 2000 wechselte die «VM Cars» ihren Standort von Ennetbürgen nach Ennetmoos, um dem laufenden Qualitätsstandard zu entsprechen. <br />
